Rep. Lanoue Reads to Students for “Read Across America”

I had the pleasure of reading to the children at Sterling Community School, Voluntown Elementary, and Griswold Elementary in celebration of Read Across America. This annual event is held on or near Dr. Seuss’s Birthday and serves as a nationwide effort to promote literacy among our youth. Our district is filled with thousands of bright young people with promising futures ahead of them.
