Rep. Lanoue Meets with CT PTA – Discusses Opposition to Forced School Regionalization

It was a pleasure meeting with members of the CT PTA, especially Jennifer Falotico, Marne Usher and Judy Goldberg. This association plays a major role in the education of our children, and I am happy to lend them my full support in any way possible.

I also want my district to know I am completely against any bill proposing forced school regionalization. I am a strong believer in local control and I view these bills as nothing more than a mandate from Hartford. Tomorrow, the …Education Committee will hold a public hearing on the regionalization bills at the Legislative Office Building beginning at 1:00 p.m. in room 2E.
