Last night we held a very successful women owned business forum at Griswold High School. I’d like to thank all the panelist including, Kim Walden Maxson, Joyce Jordan, Susan R Hull, Laura Stetler, and Senator Heather Somers. Each participant shared their stories and offered advice to current and aspiring entrepreneurs in our district.

There are many women-owned businesses throughout the towns of Griswold, Lisbon, Plainfield, Sterling and Voluntown who work tirelessly to grow their companies, create good jobs for Connecticut residents, and help promote our region of the state as a major innovation hub.

Thank you to everyone who attended. I look forward to holding similar events in the near future.
