Today we celebrated women entrepreneurs during the 6th annual Women-Owned Business Day at the Capitol presented by the Women’s Business Development Council. Women business owners from across the state had the opportunity to network, hear from industry and government leaders, and learn about resources available to them and their companies. In the coming months, I hope to hold a forum in my district for current employers and aspiring entrepreneurs. By building a strong network of women-run and women-owned businesses in our towns, we can make the 45th district a center for innovation, quality career opportunities and economic growth.
