On Monday, October 21, Rep. Brian Lanoue attended a forum in Voluntown about Beach Pond. The town is exploring ways to mitigate issues such as aquatic invasive species, traffic near the boat launch, enforcing boating regulations and more. Rep. Lanoue will continue to do his part in Hartford and hopes to introduce legislation next session to help the community address these issues.
Huge thanks to Voluntown First Selectman Tracey Hanson for organizing this event as well as the other speakers and residents who attended.
