On Thursday morning, as Chair of the Internship Committee, it was proud to participate in the legislature’s Internship Committee Recognition Ceremony. For months, Interns from all across Connecticut worked very hard for all four caucuses, helping us with various tasks to add to their experience, and become part of the legislative process.
The opportunity that they had to work within this institution and what they added to our process, was invaluable for both legislators, staff, and interns alike. I want to thank all of our wonderful interns, Chair Douglas McCrory, Ranking Members Christine Palm & Kevin Witkos, our committee members, and all of our staff members in the building who all worked together to make this a very successful legislative session for our interns.
The Committee for Legislative Staff Internships is a statutorily created Committee whose principal responsibility is the development and administration of the Connecticut Legislative Internship Program.
