⚠️Attention Homeschooling Community 🚨
In light of the recent troubling neglect and abuse case in Waterbury that has received extensive media coverage, Democratic lawmakers are focusing their efforts on the homeschooling community.
Rather than investigating the specific failures related to this alarming case, Connecticut lawmakers are hastily pursuing measures that could restrict the rights and freedoms of homeschooling families in the state. They have swiftly arranged an information session and are not accepting public comments, indicating a push toward an emergency certification.
This coming Monday, the Education and Children Committee will hold an Informational Homeschool Hearing which I will be attending.
