    The COVID-19 crisis has created an urgent need for food donations in the 45th District. I have provided the contact information below for local food pantries as well as a drive hosted by St. Mary’s Church. This information is for those in need or those who would like to donate.

    Plainfield & Sterling: Project Pin

    Where: 23 Village Center Circle, Moosup, CT 06354

    When: Monday, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Griswold, Lisbon, Voluntown: Saint Mary’s Church Food Pantry

    Where: 34 North Main Street, Jewett City, CT 06351

    When: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., respectively

    When: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call ahead if you are able to contribute.

    NOTE: Accepting community contributions ONLY of fresh fruits and vegetables (oranges, bananas, apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes). All other donations can be made to Saint Mary’s Church Food Pantry.
