FAQ Document from the Governor’s Office

What’s happening across our state, country, and global community is unnerving. We are living in uncertain times, and I’m sure you are receiving a lot of information from many sources. This can be overwhelming. I want to help streaming that information for you as much as possible. The governor’s office created an FAQ document (31 pages) on the COVID-19 crisis (link at the bottom).

This document includes information about the disease itself, the latest information on testing, an explanation of the governor’s executive orders, travel information, updates on school closures, meals for students who need them, childcare, and additional resources from various state departments, including the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV), and unemployment insurance information from the Department of Labor (DOL).
I will compile the information on my website as a one-stop-shop for local, state, and federal resources, but please take a moment to review this document as well. It may answer questions you have about the virus, the health threat it poses, the economic impact, and how the authorities are responding to it.
As always, I am here for each of you as a resource. While I will not be providing my own commentary on this situation nor providing information I find not credible, I will forward you the latest updates from our elected officials and health professionals as I receive them.
Please stay safe, remain calm, and use this as an opportunity to comfortable your loved ones, especially young children. We will get through this together.
