Confirmed EEE-Positive Mosquitoes in Pachaug State Forest

The Connecticut Mosquito Management Program has confirmed cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) positive mosquitoes trapped in Pachaug State Forest on July 31^st, 2019 as detailed in this press release from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.

I urge each of you to read the release in its entirety as it contains information about EEE, ways to prevent mosquito bites, and additional resources should you require more information.

I encourage you to share this release with your family, friends, coworkers and neighbors as this issue affects everyone in the 45^th District.
