The Connecticut Mosquito Management Program has confirmed cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) positive mosquitoes trapped in Pachaug State Forest on July 31st, 2019 as detailed in this press release from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.
I urge each of you to read the release in its entirety as it contains information about EEE, ways to prevent mosquito bites, and additional resources should you require more information.
