On Wednesday, it was the opening day of the 2023 Legislative Session here in Connecticut. For me however, things were a bit different as I was unable to attend in person due to a recent diagnosis of COVID-19. Even though I am disappointed I was unable to be in the House Chamber with my colleagues this morning, it was my honor to take the oath of office this afternoon at 3:30 P.M. to continue to serve as the 45th General Assembly District Representative. I am anxious to get back to the building and out and about in the district as soon as possible.
I would like to thank Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas and her office, as well as the House Republican Office who worked closely together to make sure I was sworn in this afternoon. Thank you again for entrusting me to represent you at our State Capitol, it has been the honor of my life to able to serve.
