Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Last week the Judiciary committee held multiple meetings on different bills they planning to vote out of the committee.

  • The Judiciary committee debated the legalization of marijuana. Watch the debate here.
  • The Judiciary committee also debated the erasure of some criminal records and the merits of solitary confinement. Watch the debate here.

On Wednesday April 9th, as a member of the Finance Committee, I attended their public hearing on proposed tax changes to the state tax code.

This Monday, the Finance, Revenue and Bonding committee of which I am a member will be holding a committee meeting to vote on big issues such as school construction grants, tax credits and paid medical leave, here is the agenda
