Covid-19 has certainly changed our lives but many of us are unaware of the alarming rise in cases of domestic abuse and sexual violence in our communities.  On August 13, I had the opportunity to speak with two local experts on this important topic. Paola Serrecchia of the Hope Family Justice Center in New Haven and Jennifer Wenderoth Holster of the Woman and Family Center in Meriden are both leaders in providing help to victims. There is a lot of good information here and contact information for all. These issues touch so many people and families and it’s critical that we talk about it openly and let those effected know that there is help for them.
