State Government Resources

As the 2017 Legislative Session starts to pick up momentum, I would like to provide you with some important links that will help you navigate our state government.
Track Legislation
Visit the General Assembly’s website at http://www.cga.ct.govor the Office of Legislative Research’s website at www.cga.ct.gov/olr to learn about the issues, track bills, meeting information and votes. You can also call the Bill Status Information Room (860-240-0555) or the Connecticut State Library (860-757-6500).
Open Government and Information
Connecticut provides useful resources to track where your tax dollars are being spent. By visiting http://www.osc.ct.gov/openctand www.openbudget.ct.gov, you will be given the necessary tools to explore and to better understand complex state financial information.
I also encourage you to follow me on Facebook at RepNKD and to visit my legislative website, www.RepNKD.com, for frequent updates and event notifications.
