This morning, I joined my colleagues for another productive meeting of the legislature’s Manufacturing Technology i4.0 Working Group in Hartford.
I want to thank Jackie Garogano – Chief Technology Officer, CCAT & Jeff Orzak – Director, Business Technology & Innovation, CONNSTEP, for their remarks, overview and insights into manufacturing industries in our state and how we can continue to support initiatives to bolster manufacturing.
It was also great to hear specifically about separate segments of industry, and Charles Daniels, of Wepco; Nicole Russo, of Microboard; and Paul Lavoie, chief manufacturing officer, did a fantastic job offering their professional expertise and opinions about the future of manufacturing in Connecticut.
