    Connecticut’s largest business organization recognized State Representative Nicole Klarides-Ditria for her perfect voting score on key bills impacting Connecticut’s economic growth and business climate during the 2022 legislative session.

    The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) ranked all state lawmakers based on their support for the business community’s positions on 10 important policies. The bills all affect job creation, small business growth and economic stability in Connecticut.

    The scorecard was calculated with selected pieces of legislation and may reflect votes from committee, the House, or both. Some of the bills assessed in the report include: SB163, An Act Protecting Employee Freedom of Speech and Conscience; SB 407, An Act Concerning the Development and Implementation of a Post-Covid-19 Women’s Return to Work Economic Development Plan; SB 426, An Act Concerning False Claims and Other Prohibited Acts; SB 334, An Act Making the Commercial Driver’s License Knowledge Test Available to Certain Incarcerated Persons; HB 5248, An Act Concerning Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions on Occupational Licensing; HB 5039, An Act Concerning Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Emission Standards; and more.
