Rep. Klarides-Ditria Cannot Support PURA Chair Gillett’s Reappointment

Earlier today, the legislature voted to reconfirm Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) Chair Marissa Gillett.
Unfortunately, the process surrounding her nomination has not been transparent and has created a large number of concerns among my colleagues on both sides of the aisle. These concerns have been shared for weeks in several committees and again today during the House debate.
With so many unanswered or concerning questions still out there, I was unable to support her confirmation.
