In celebration of Read Across America Day, State Rep. Nicole Klarides-Ditria read stories to classes at Bungay Elementary School in Seymour and Laurel Ledge Elementary School in Beacon Falls.
Rep. Klarides-Ditria was one of several guest readers during the day. In Seymour, Rep. Klarides-Ditria joined Seymour First Selectwoman Annmarie Drugonis and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Susan Compton! She read “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus” to Nicole Yustin’s Kindergarten class at Bungay and “Game Changers, The Story of Venus and Serena Williams” to Natasha Vaccarelli’s 4th grade class at Laurel Ledge.
