    Klarides Sisters Helping Collect Items for Veterans

    DERBY– House Republican Leader Themis Klarides and State Rep. Nicole Klarides-Ditria are encouraging Valley residents this holiday season to help veterans in need by donating clothes, comfort items, or games to their donation drive.

    The Klarides Sisters said their Annual Donation Drive to Help Connecticut Veterans will run from December 12th to December 21st with a collection box located at the Derby Library 313 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT.

    Items needed include:

    CLOTHES may include: new medium to 3x-large t-shirts, new socks, new undergarments (men
    and women), gently used jeans and pants (all sizes), new shoes, boots, winter hats, and gloves,
    and gently used coats.

    COMFORT ITEMS may include: new travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap,
    shaving cream, disposable razors, baby powder, baby oil, deodorant, toothpaste, lotion, cotton
    swabs, sanitary napkins, face wash, and toothbrushes. Other comfort items may include: lip
    balm, denture cream, denture cleaner, brushes/combs, and nail files.

    GAMES include: doodle art, checkers, word search, Sudoku, and crossword puzzle books.
