    To make Valentine’s Day a little more special for our heroes, State Representatives Kathy Kennedy (R-119), and Charles Ferraro (R-117), who represents West Haven, and I teamed up and asked school students to create handmade cards to be distributed to Veterans at the VA Connecticut Healthcare in West Haven.  They came through in a BIG way!!!

    I want to send my heartfelt thanks to each and every student and teacher who participated in this incredible event, especially my friends from Laurel ledge, Chatfield-LoPresti, and Bungay Schools for taking the time to create such beautiful cards.

    We dropped them off and they are being distributed today!
