Rep. Klarides-Ditria was part of a large, bipartisan press conference calling for thoughtful consideration of proposed House Bill 6871 – An Act Limiting Out-Of-Network Health Care Costs.
The group, led by doctors, hospital administrators, legislators, and advocates, held a press conference in opposition to the measure, which they say has the potential to actually increase costs for patients and may also create unintended consequences such as limited or reduced access to health care or even the closure of some doctor offices.
