Recently, I joined WICC600‘s “Melissa in the Morning” to break down my proposal (HB 5474) which would prohibit social media companies from targeting youth through algorithms and require parental consent for users under the age of 16. Once again, I am grateful to the hard work done by Amity High School students, Daniel Mowerman and Michael Audie, who brought this to my attention this session.
