This week, I voted against the nomination of Melissa Gillett to Chair the Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) because our residents deserve accountability and affordability. Right now, folks are struggling to balance their personal budgets and the majority party leadership has stalled on a solution. My ‘no’ vote is a testament to putting the interests of our ratepayers first.
