    CTDOT is announcing that a tree removal operation will require the closure of the right lane on Route 15 northbound and southbound in the towns of Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden starting March 20, 2022.

    The night work is scheduled to occur Sunday, March 20, 2022, through Monday April 11, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

    LANE CLOSURE INFO

    Motorists can expect right lane closure to occur on Route 15 northbound in Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden between Exit 58 (Route 34, Derby Turnpike) and Exit 60 (Route 10, Dixwell Ave.) and Route 15 southbound in Hamden, New Haven, Woodbridge and Orange between Exit 60 (Route 10, Dixwell Ave.) and Exit 58 (Route 34, Derby Turnpike).

    Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

    Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
