The CT Department of Motor Vehicles web portal will expand the virtual actions currently available.

New transactions available are: requesting a replacement driver’s license; a replacement non-driver’s license; and driving history. These applications are estimated to only take 5-7 minutes to complete; as well as, offer a tracking component for replacement card requests, and driving history document retrieval for up to 30 days at no additional cost.

To get started, on any of these options, you will need:

    • Your first and last name exactly as it appears on your current driver’s license or non-driver ID
    • Your date of birth
    • Your street address
    • Your driver’s license or non-driver ID number
    • Your social security number
    • A credit or debit card

These features are in addition to virtual license and non-driver ID card renewal services announced by Gov. Lamont last month.

Keep in mind, starting October 1, 2021 you will need a REAL ID or valid U.S. passport for domestic flights. Please note, verified ID’s must be completed in-person at a licensed DMV location. For more information on REAL ID, click below.

Remember: This budget is a 700+ page document that addresses a wide variety of issues, many of which do NOT reflect our desires […]

This bill will help law enforcement safely communicate with persons who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Each yellow envelope provides […]
