Rep. Kennedy: Join Me in a Clean-Up of Gulf Beach

MILFORD- With the end of summer almost upon us, State Rep. Kathy Kennedy (R-43) is hosting a Beach Clean-up on September 26 at Gulf Beach.

In an effort to keep area beaches and oceans clean, Rep. Kennedy is sponsoring a beach clean-up to increase awareness to the Milford community about litter and pollution that gets dumped and thrown in and near the beautiful Long Island Sound and the need to keep it clean.

The Gulf Beach Clean-up will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday September 26th.  Kathy and others will meet in the beach parking lot at 550 Gulf Road.

Kathy is asking anyone who is interested in participating to please register at Gulf Beach registration.

All necessary PPE (masks/gloves) & garage bags will be provided while supplies last.

Today, I proudly stood with members of the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, & Opportunity (CWCSEO) and colleagues on the Transportation Committee in support of HB 7159, also known as the Yellow Envelope Bill. This bill will help law enforcement safely communicate with persons who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Each yellow envelope provides […]
