Rep. Kennedy: Bridge Maintenance on I-95 North and South in Milford.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 North and South in Milford.

The project consists of structural steel repairs on Bridge #00144 over I-95 in Milford. This project is scheduled to begin the evening of Wednesday, July 17, 2019, ending the morning of Friday, July 25, 2019.

The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 North and South between Exit 39A (Rt.1 Milford) and Exit 38 (Rt.15) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. (Monday through Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
