Bridge Maintenance, Deck Repairs on I-95 North and South in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 North and South in Milford, beginning Monday, October 7, 2019.

The project consists of concrete full-depth deck repairs on the I-95 North and South bridge #00153 on I-95 in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Monday, October 7, 2019 to the morning of Friday, October 11, 2019.

The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 North and South between Exit 40 (Old Gate Rd./Woodmont Rd.) in Milford and Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Rd.) in Orange. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. (Monday through Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
