Today, I was proud to support a bill originally brought to my attention by local students, Daniel Mowerman and Michael Audie, who seek increased oversight on social media companies and their targeted content. We must protect our impressionable youth from distracting and inappropriate content that leads them to endlessly scroll.

Although this bill may not be perfect, it is a step in the right direction towards putting the safety of our youth first.
