Nighttime Bridge Maintenance, I-95 Northbound and Southbound in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 NB & SB in Milford, beginning Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

The project consists of structural steel repairs to the I-95 NB & SB Bridge #00144 (West River St. underpass) in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Tuesday, May 28, 2019 to the morning of Friday, May 31, 2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB between Exit 37 (High Street) and Exit 39A (Route 1 South) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings)

No lane closures will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
