Yesterday, I joined elected officials and members of the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) at Milford’s Silver Sands State Park to launch our new ctparks.com that offers residents a one-stop site to explore statewide parks, beaches, and entertainment for the summer months.
I am also proud to announce our new rideshare service through ParkConnect that offers free public transportation to many of our state parks. Thank you to all those who continue to make our state parks the best in New England, especially our lifeguards, concessions employees, and maintenance staff.
