    Century Farm Nominations Due

    The Connecticut Agricultural Information Council (CAIC) is seeking nominations for the Century Farm Award. The Century Farm Award is given to a farm that has been in family operation for more than 100 years, and has outstanding potential to be successful business for another 100 years. Recipients are selected annually by CAIC.
    Farms meeting the criteria may be nominated by another individual or self-nominate. All nominations are due by May 31.

    The Century Farm Award is presented during Plant Science Day, to be held on August 7, 2024 at Lockwood Farm in Hamden, CT. The recipient will also be recognized during Ag Day at the Capitol in March 2025.

    Most recently the Century Farm Award was presented to Fairholm Farm (Woodstock) in 2022 and Horton Farms (South Glastonbury) in 2023. Previous winners can be found at www.ctaginfocouncil.org along with the online nomination form.
