Rep. Arnold Jensen recently joined chamber members, concerned residents, and legislative colleagues for the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Conversation with our Valley Legislative Delegation” at the Hyatt House Hotel in Shelton.
The panel, moderated by AT&T’s Harry Carey, included State Senator Jason Perillo, and State Representatives Jensen, Nicole Klarides-Ditria, Kara Rochelle, and Mary Welander.
The discussion was expansive but generally focused on the major issues facing Connecticut residents like the state budget and potential changes to local funding support, energy and electricity costs, especially regarding the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and the Public Benefits Charge, grocery and food prices, and overall affordability issues that are hurting our state.
