Since last Spring, the House Republican Caucus has been front and center bringing to light the rise in crime, especially juvenile crime, across Connecticut, which is a growing concern in all 169 cities and towns. From the death of an innocent man out jogging in New Britain last June, to locked cars that are being ransacked and stolen from driveways and even from inside garages. Recently, some thieves have gotten so brazen that they’ve moved past property crimes and have begun carjacking innocent men and women at the gas pump. It is time to act, the people of Connecticut can no longer stand for this disregard of law and order.

The House Republican Caucus understands your concerns with the failed policies that are putting criminals back on the streets within hours of an arrest. As a former police chief, I realize there is nothing our law enforcement professionals can do until the laws are changed.

Monday’s PUBLIC HEARING is your chance to tell the legislature your story and let them know what you want to see changed!

Registration will close on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 3:00 P.M.
