Fallen Officer Fund

Earlier this week, Governor Lamont signed Public Act 24-27 into law. This new law creates a fallen officers fund, offering crucial financial support to families of fallen police officers. This ensures that family members covered by the officer’s insurance will have health coverage for up to five years, with $100,000 assistance for surviving family members.

House Republican leadership worked very hard to get this bill across the finish line. We must never forget the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.
