Last week, House Republicans unveiled our legislative proposals aimed at making Connecticut more affordable.

Highlighted by a call for an amendment to the State Constitution to codify our fiscal guardrails, our comprehensive priorities target tax relief and savings to residents and businesses – while emphasizing our commitment to financial responsibility.

Other priorities to support residents, families, and businesses include:

• Enacting a state child tax deduction
• Exempting children’s clothing items from state sales tax
• Helping small business workers by authorizing establishment of association healthcare plans
