Last week, State Rep. Cindy Harrison more than 3 hours chatting and answering questions from constituents during events at the Roxbury and Bridgewater Senior Centers. In Roxbury, First Selectman Patrick Roy and Senior Center Director Jennifer Skene-Tiso shared their ideas for the future of the facility and programming while showing the beautifully renovated upstairs community room and kitchen areas that were recently completed.
More than a dozen people gathered for the Bridgewater event, where multiple concerns regarding the state budget, taxes and increased state spending were raised. One resident brought up concerns about a local river and poor drainage possibly related to road construction that altered the area.
