Rep. Hall Responds to Hazardville Water Company Rate Increase

As many of you already know, the Hazardville Water Company has proposed a massive 72% rate increase.

In early November, PURA held two public meetings to provide the public with an opportunity to weigh in on the company's request. I attended the first meeting in-person to not only show my support to our residents, but also lend my voice in also strongly opposing it.

The Authority is still accepting email testimony on this case up until the deadline on Thursday, December 18th. Email PURA.ExecutiveSecretary@ct.gov.

In the upcoming weeks, I will be coordinating with Senator Kissel's office to submit a joint letter to PURA opposing this increase in hopes our efforts combined with your voices halt this outrageous request.
