On Thursday, the Connecticut Siting Council voted unanimously to approve the expansion of Gravel Pit Solar in East Windsor.

"This decision is completely unacceptable," Rep. Hall said. "The 'fair share' approach we take on every other issue should indeed apply here as well. No one town (or area) should be forced to take on the majority of these developments. The decision making needs to return back to our local municipalities."
