On Wednesday, State Representative Carol Hall joined Senator John A. Kissel at CT State Asnuntuck for a legislative discussion and update on what is happening at the school, the programs being offered, and any other developments related to state government.

The event included highlights on the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) system as a whole, positive news regarding enrollment, and how CT State's machine program is setting up students for job placement upon graduation. Additionally, there are plans to expand both their trade and certificate programs.

"It should come as no surprise to anyone that this campus continues to shine," Rep. Hall said. "It has, and continues to, provide people of all ages with a good quality education and tangible skills they can take right into the workplace. It truly is a local gem that we are fortunate to partner with."
