House Republicans Call for Special Session to Address Energy Increases

Today, I joined my Republican colleagues in proposing several solutions to help offset the costs associated with the shut off moratorium.
They include – reallocate the remaining end-of-year American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, allocate the FY24 General Fund surplus of $329.3 million, permanently reduce the Budget Reserve Fund threshold from 18% to 15% in order to reallocate the difference to ratepayers.
