HARTFORD- State Representative Carol Hall (R-59) took the oath-of-office for her second term representing the 59th General Assembly District which includes portions of Enfield and East Windsor.

“I am honored to serve the people of Enfield and East Windsor for another term in the General Assembly,” said Rep. Hall. “Job creation, balancing our state budget and making Connecticut more affordable are my priorities this session. I am looking forward to taking on a leadership role on the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee as the ranking member to move forward with job training, apprenticeship programs and growing our local manufacturing economy. In Enfield we have a shining jewel in Asnuntuck Community College that has a state-of-the-art manufacturing program that has continued to grow and expand with huge success stories with local employment and job placement after graduation”.

Rep. Hall will begin a new role as the highest ranking House Republican on the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee and will serve on the budget-writing Appropriations Committee and the Public Safety Committee.

The 2019 Legislative Session will run for a five month period from January 9th to June 5th. Rep. Hall can be reached at Carol.Hall@housegop.ct.gov or 860-240-8700.
