HARTFORD – The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) has released their ‘2022 State House Voting Records’ annual report and State Representative Carol Hall (R-59) recently received a 100% score for her support of business-friendly legislation.

“Given many of the unfriendly policies Connecticut continues to place onto our businesses such as the truck tax, food tax, payroll tax, and increase to the minimum wage, I am proud to have been recognized by CBIA for my continued support of legislation that seeks to eliminate burdensome regulations and unnecessary mandates,” Rep. Hall said. “Given rising inflation and soaring gas prices, it is even more important the legislature enact more businesses friendly policies that promote growth and expansion.”

The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) annually rates lawmakers based on their votes in committee or the House floor on a series of ‘key bills’ determined by the association on Connecticut’s economic competitiveness and business climate. Votes that support the business community’s position would reflect positively, while votes in opposition would result in a lowered score.

Rep. Hall was one of only forty-one state representatives who received a perfect score from the association.

CBIA is Connecticut’s leading business organization – with a membership comprised of hundreds of small, medium and large-sized businesses around the state.
