Rep. Hall Helps to Bring Permanent Vaccine Clinic to Enfield

HARTFORD – Through a collaborative effort, State Representative Carol Hall (R-59) is pleased to announce the Town of Enfield will now have a permanent clinic for residents who want to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Rep. Hall said she’s thankful for the work of State Representative Tom Arnone (D-58), Town Manager Christopher W. Bromson, Johnson Memorial Hospital, and Trinity Health of New England who all came together in order to make the clinic possible.
The news about the clinic which will be held at the Enfield Town Annex (formerly Fermi High School), came this morning during a virtual legislative breakfast with representatives from Johnson Memorial Hospital.
“I am so excited for the residents of Enfield to be able to have a clinic set up locally to address their vaccine needs,” Rep. Hall said. “This is a perfect example of your state, local and private hospital, Johnson Memorial coming together in a collaborative effort to serve the betterment of our community.”
Beginning March 1st, individuals 65 and older along with anyone from Phase 1b who haven’t already received the vaccine are eligible to register using state’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) website. This includes, healthcare personnel, Long-Term Care facility residents, medical first responders, and residents and staff of select congregate settings.
It is expected vaccine registration for frontline essential workers and those with underlying medical conditions with increased risk for severe illness will likely take place in March.
