HARTFORD – In the closing hours of the 2024 legislative session on Wednesday night, State Representative Carol Hall cast her vote in support of a land conveyance in the Town of Enfield.
The bill, SB-460, An Act Concerning the Conveyance of a Parcel of Land in the Town of Enfield, would transfer the 14.5 acres of land on Shaker Road to the town so it could be used for additional sports and recreational opportunities.
“I am excited to announce the House and Senate have both voted in favor of conveying the parcel of property across the street from our soccer fields, which will allow the town to expand their commitment to sports and recreational activities,” Rep. Hall said.
The bill will now head to the governor’s desk for his signature.
