Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 220 in Enfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 220 from SSR 404 (Taylor Road) to the Massachusetts State Line in Enfield.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.26 mile segment of Route 220 from SSR 404 (Taylor Road) to the Massachusetts State Line in Enfield. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 to Friday, May 15, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 18, 2020 to Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
No work will be performed the day before or after the Memorial Day Holiday
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 220 from SSR 404 (Taylor Road) to the Massachusetts State Line in Enfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
