HARTFORD—State Representative Carol Hall (R-59) was sworn in on Wednesday, January 4th as the 2017 session of the Connecticut General Assembly officially got under way. A freshman to Connecticut’s Legislature, Hall will represent East Windsor and Enfield at the Capitol.

Hall was among twenty freshman Republican legislators who took the oath, administered by the Secretary of State Denise Merrill, to serve their districts over a two year term.

“I am excited to represent the people of East Windsor and Enfield here in the Connecticut Legislature” Hall noted. “Tough decisions will need to be made and I look forward to ensure the 59th District’s voice is heard.”

House Minority Leader Themis Klarides has appointed Representative Hall to the Appropriations Committee, Education Committee and the Planning and Development Committee.

The 2017 regular legislative session is scheduled to run from January 4th to June 7th.
