I had an opportunity to step away from my committee responsibilities to join the Enfield delegation to meet and chat with members of the Enfield Police Explorers Program.
These young men and women volunteer more than 300 hours of their time assisting our police department and community. The experience they receive as part of the program provides them with tangible skills used by our police officers in the event they choose to pursue careers in the field.
I even had the pleasure of meeting my former Enfield colleague Greg Stokes’ grandson.
