East Windsor Constituent Testifies in Support of Sunday Hunting Bill

East Windsor Constituent Testifies in Support of Sunday Hunting Bill

Today, I had an opportunity to use my role to assist Sara Daigle, a constituent, and an amazing young woman in testifying on behalf of HB-7231, which would permit hunting on Sundays.

Sara is an honor student, active in the Future Farmers of America (FFA), student of Agriculture, and involved in the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), where she is also a certified junior coach. If that wasn’t already a busy schedule, Sara volunteers with DEEP to conduct and instruct bow and firearms safety courses and is also a volunteer instructor for the Bring Women Outdoors Program that teaches women how to safely handle firearms in the outdoors.

She is an avid hunter and has been hunting with her father since she was old enough to carry a pheasant. Sara supports this bill because she’d like to hunt with her father and due to her busy schedule isn’t able to. The passage of this bill would allow them to spend time doing what they love together.
