HARTFORDState Representative Robin Green (R-55) concluded her district-wide legislative updates Thursday night with a Pizza and Politics event at Marlborough Pizza. The meeting was an opportunity for area residents to discuss the recently concluded 2019 legislative session, have their questions answered, or share their thoughts on any state-wide issue.

The discussion focused on the biannual state budget, an expansion of new and increased taxes, new laws, and the current status of the toll debate.

“I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to spend time discussing many important issues,” Rep. Green said. These meetings are an important aspect in ensuring your voices are being heard and represented at the Capitol. I will continue advocating on your behalf for policies that make Connecticut a more attractable place to live, work, open a business, and raise a family.”

Rep. Green also held similar updates at the Andover Public Library, Bolton Town Hall, and Douglas Library in Hebron.
